Job summary

Bush Brothers Provision Company is seeking a Warehouse Selector / Order Picker for a night shift (8 PM–5 AM) in our Warehouse department. You will locate, retrieve, and prepare meat products from Cooler and Freezer inventory to fulfill customer orders.

Responsibilities include reading pick tickets, packing, inspecting items, and assisting with inventory while adhering to safety policies. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Able to lift 80 pounds frequently throughout the shift.
• 1 year of experience operating an electric pallet jack.
• Stand-up forklift and reach truck experience.
• Ability to work in freezer/cooler temperatures with attention to detail.

Warehouse Selector / Order Picker

Schedule: Sunday through Friday, 8 PM to 5 AM

Department: Warehouse

Reports to: Operations Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Key accountabilities

The picker/order selector is responsible for accurately and efficiently locating, retrieving, and preparing meat products from warehouse inventory to fulfill customer orders. Products will be selected from both Cooler and Freezer warehouse inventory.

Responsibilities

• Order fulfillment: read and comprehend pick tickets
• Material Handling: manually pull products from shelves and operate warehouse equipment, such as an electric pallet jack.
• Packing and Staging: in an organized fashion, secure orders onto pallets.
• Pack items for shipment
• Inspect items for quality and damage, quantities, and other details to ensure accuracy.
• Assist with inventory counts
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of warehouse experience
• The associate is frequently required to stand, walk, and climb
• Able to lift 80 pounds frequently throughout the shift
• Must have 1 year of experience operating an electric pallet jack
• Stand-up forklift - reach truck experience
• Ability to work in a Freezer/cooler temperature
• Strict attention to detail
