Artex Manufacturing is a metal fabricating and aluminum trailer manufacturing facility. The role involves loading/unloading, inventory counts, and coordinating with carriers, with a Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate forklift and pallet jack.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and follow safety policies.
• Receive, store, and locate goods in the warehouse.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack to load/unload.
• Process shipping/receiving docs in system.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with production.
• Prepare shipments and pick orders accurately.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse and report issues.

Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm

Friday overtime optional

Areas of Accountability

• Inventory Control Shipping & Receiving
• Quality Assurance Customer Service

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Work safely and comply with company and regulatory safety/environmental policies, practices and procedures
• Maintain highest level of confidentiality, customer service and professionalism to promote a positive image of the company
• Manage receipt of goods to be stored in the warehouse; identify an appropriate and safe location for each item
• Operate forklift and pallet jack to load/unload trucks and move finished, palletized product
• Process all necessary shipping and receiving documentation and enter information into Microsoft Business Central
• Monitor inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage systems
• Coordinate with production team to ensure physical counts and reconciling with data storage systems
• Keep warehouse clean and organized by performing daily housekeeping duties
• Verify all goods are received in good condition; take corrective action when missing product or errors are identified
• Prepare shipments - accurately pick orders, determine pickup/delivery method, ensure timely delivery of orders
• Pick all components needed for production per Release Production Orders distributed by Production Manager
• Accept phone calls related to shipping dates and provide information to customer in professional manner
• Coordinate with carriers on shipping/receiving schedules and rates

Qualifications

• Ability to actively work in all weather conditions - extreme heat and cold
