Job summary

BOSC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to engage customers and support branch operations at our Fort Myers location. The role focuses on safe handling of products, shipping/receiving, and helping the branch run smoothly to ensure a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities include assisting the branch team, maintaining inventory accuracy, and operating warehouse equipment in compliance with policies and regulations. Strong teamwork and safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of delivery driver experience with a commercial vehicle (10k–26k lbs).
• Strong interpersonal, customer relationship and decision‑making skills.
• Effective and professional communication and organization skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a high‑volume environment.
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office is a plus.
• HVAC industry experience with warehouse and forklift operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a member of the branch team, engage customers to ensure a positive experience.
• Support the branch manager and counter sales associates in duties, inventory management, and other tasks.
• Operate material handling equipment safely, including forklifts, per policy and regulations.
• Handle shipping and receiving activities to maintain safe and efficient product flow.
• Manage FIFO and inspect returned products for damage and accuracy.
• Contribute to branch efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job description

The Warehouse Associate deals directly with our customers on a daily basis to ensure they have a positive experience. As a member of the branch team, this will primarily be accomplished through picking and loading our products directly to our customer vehicles, third party carriers, or our own company vehicles. This will be accomplished through the safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment, including by not limited to forklifts, in compliance of company policy and government regulations.

This position will regularly be asked to support other branch activities to ensure its success. This may include, but not limited to, assisting the branch manager and the location counter sales associates in the support of their duties, inventory management, and other duties as required.

• Engage in supporting and maintaining the efficient operation of the branch in accordance with current guidelines, policies, practices, and procedures.
• Proactively engage in the safe efficient operation of the warehouse:
  • Shipping and receiving activities as required to assure that products are handled and stored in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Proper picking of orders including managing first in, first out (FIFO) compiance.
  • Receive returned product from customers – inspecting for damage, check packing slip for product accuracy, and securing returning product to ensure safe and undamaged return.
  • Enhance and improve inventory management.
• Other duties as directed.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of delivery driver experience of a commercial vehicle weighing 10k-26k pounds.
• High School diploma or equivalent combined education and experience.
• Strong interpersonal, customer relationship and decision-making skills.
• Effective and professional communication and organization skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team in a high-volume fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office software is a plus.
• HVAC industry experience preferred including warehouse and forklift operations.
