Job summary

The role requires 2–4 years driving a heavy vehicle and a high school diploma, with strong communication and teamwork skills for a fast-paced environment. HVAC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of delivery driver experience of a commercial vehicle weighing 10k-26k pounds.
• High School diploma or equivalent combined education and experience.
• Strong interpersonal, customer relationship and decision-making skills.
• Effective and professional communication and organization skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team in a high-volume fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills.
• HVAC industry experience preferred including warehouse and forklift operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships and enhance the customer experience.
• Communicate in a professional and courteous manner daily with customers via face-to-face interaction, phone, e-mail, or other means.
• Support and maintain the efficient operation of the branch per guidelines and procedures.
• Safely operate the warehouse, including shipping/receiving, FIFO picking, and inventory improvements.
• Assist in duties as directed by branch leadership.

  • Proactively engage in the safe efficient operation of the warehouse:
    • Shipping and receiving activities as required to assure that products are handled and stored in a safe and efficient manner.
    • Proper picking of orders including managing first in, first out (FIFO) compiance.
    • Receive returned product from customers - inspecting for damage, check packing slip for product accuracy, and securing returning product to ensure safe and undamaged return.
    • Enhance and improve inventory management.
  • Other duties as directed.
