Job summary

QXO is hiring a Warehouse Specialist in Corpus Christi, TX. You will load, unload, receive, store and distribute inventory, operating a forklift and/or pallet jack in a fast-paced environment.

Role requires standing long hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, basic math, and use of handheld scanners. Valid driver's license is required if operating a vehicle for company purposes; forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Forklift certification preferred but not required.
• Experience in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, receive, store and distribute inventory safely.
• Operate forklift and/or pallet jack as needed.
• Cycle count inventory and report wear or defects to supervision.
• Ensure loads are complete and secured to minimize damage.
• Stand up to 12 hours; perform bending, stooping, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Your Responsibilities

Currently hiring a Warehouse Specialist to load, unload, receive, store and distribute inventory. Our Warehouse team members play a vital role in the daily operations of our facility. If you are a reliable team player with a desire to work safely in a fast-paced environment, then we want you to

• Safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Cycle count inventory, storing in orderly and accessible manner, while inspecting stock items for wear or defects and reporting to supervision.
• Ensure loads are complete and secured to minimize damage and breakage.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting 50 lbs. during physical loading/unloading of trucks.
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours to perform job related tasks.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for Company purposes, a valid driver’s license will be required.
• Ability to use a handheld scanning unit.
• Compute basic math problems.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification is preferred, but not required.

Compensation Range

$13.00 - $30.00
