As The Warehouse Associate you will be responsible for pulling and staging insulation materials, accurately loading customer orders, receiving and organizing incoming inventory, and keeping the warehouse clean and organized. This position will also assist walk-in customers with their material needs and help maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Duties include Safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack to move and load materials. Count and organize inventory, ensuring materials are stored in an orderly and accessible manner. Load and unload trucks and trailers, including floor-loaded material from 52-foot trailers. Review Bills of Lading (BOLs) when receiving materials and report any shortages, damages, or discrepancies. Assist walk-in customers with loading materials into their pickup trucks. Frequently bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs. during loading and unloading. Stand and remain active for extended periods, up to 12 hours, while performing job duties. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times. Follow all company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
This role requires prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Role also requires good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength. The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on the specific job duties.
