Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in Tonawanda, NY is seeking Warehouse Associates to support a local distribution company. Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with starting pay of $18.50 per hour.

You will help ensure safe and accurate warehouse operations across shipping, receiving, inventory counting, and material handling. Responsibilities include receiving shipments, recording data, resolving discrepancies, preparing orders, and using logistics software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in warehousing, shipping, or receiving preferred but not required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite and similar computer programs.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments, and verify correct quantities to shipping documents.
• Accurately record shipment information in the company system.
• Report shipment discrepancies and issues to the Customer Service Manager.
• Accurately fill orders using shelf inventory and safely package materials for shipping.
• Utilize third-party logistics software to generate shipments.
• Appropriately store materials in the correct warehouse locations.
• Perform inventory counts, identify, and record discrepancies.
• Work with internal departments to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.

• Good written and oral communication skills and excellent organizational skills
• Able to stand, walk and move for extended periods
