Job Description

Assists the Wardrobe Manager in the operation of the uniform distribution process. Maintain inventory as required. Carry out repairs and alterations as required.

• Inspect, take and store uniform and wardrobe items.
• Ensure all stock items are stored according to manufacturers specifications.
• Reject any sub-standard items and act accordingly.
• Distribute uniforms and wardrobe items in line with Company policies.
• Collect and inspect items from employees who are terminating or transferring.
• Carry out inventory procedures as determined by management.
• Perform all administrative and clerical duties as required for the smooth running of the department.
• Perform all minor alterations and repairs and use supplier(s) or tailoring/repair services for more significant jobs.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

• Two (2) years Customer Service experience.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot a sewing machine and perform basic alterations.
• Basic inventory systems and/or point of sale systems experience preferred.
• Effective communication, administrative and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel and/or similar programs preferred.
