Qualifications

• Licensed Dietitian or Nutritionist in DC is required.

• Experience providing nutrition counseling, education, and compliance oversight.
• Supervisory experience and demonstrated ability to coach and develop staff.
• ServSafe certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Ward 3 nutrition services and DACL compliance.
• Provide training and technical assistance on food safety, nutrition standards, screening, and documentation.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor food handling, nutrition service delivery, and compliance.
• Oversee intake and nutrition screening processes and ensure documentation meets DACL standards.
• Provide site-level nutrition support and coverage as needed.
• Develop and deliver nutrition education programming for older adults.
• Collaborate with clinical staff and external partners on care plans and program data.
