Job summary

Lewis Aeronautical, part of Lewis Energy Group, is seeking a Warbird Maintenance Supervisor in San Antonio. You will oversee the upkeep and readiness of rare vintage aircraft, manage the Warbird maintenance team, and ensure compliance with FAA regulations.

The role requires an A&P and IA certificates, 15+ years in aviation, and extensive experience with V12 and radial engines. You'll drive safety, policy development, and budget planning while coordinating with flight operations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• FAA A&P and IA certificates required.
• Minimum 15 years related maintenance/aviation experience.
• Experience with V12 and radial engines preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with email, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance and readiness of Warbird assets.
• Manages maintenance personnel and assigns tasks.
• Ensures safe maintenance and line operations.
• Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of fleet.
• Conducts routine inspections (Annual and Continuous).
• Ensures quality of aircraft, engine and avionics maintenance.
• Assists with department policies and short/long-range plans.
• Participates in annual operating budget preparation and staffing.
