Job summary

AirCorps Aviation, Inc. in Bemidji, MN seeks an A&P Mechanic to perform hands-on maintenance, inspections, repairs, and testing on vintage WWII-era and legacy aircraft to ensure safety, airworthiness, and regulatory compliance.

You will report to the Aircraft Maintenance Manager, support restoration projects, complete FAA paperwork, and collaborate with restoration and component teams while upholding AirCorps Aviation’s commitment to historic authenticity.

Qualifications

• FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) rating is required.
• Must be fluent in English (read, write, and speak).
• 3–5+ years of hands-on vintage aircraft maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, inspections, and testing in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and test airframes, powerplants, systems, and components to ensure safety and compliance.
• Coordinate ground handling, towing, and maintenance activities safely.
• Support restoration projects by executing repairs, overhauls, and modifications on vintage aircraft.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, logbooks, work orders, and FAA-required paperwork.
• Identify issues and contribute to continuous improvement in processes and quality.
