Job description

We are a National Telemedicine Provider seeking licensed Psychiatrists as telemedicine providers to support remote emergency teams operating in locations with limited access to advanced care. All state licensure is welcome, with multiple licensures preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Support emergency physicians at bedside by providing psychiatric consultation and care.
• Ensure the most beneficial level of treatment for patients with limited medical resources (no immediate access to CT, MRI, EEG).
• Work collaboratively with site emergency medical teams.
• Participate in monthly calls for feedback and questions.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to provide appropriate care autonomously, without immediate access to advanced imaging or extensive drug formulary.
• Develop protocols to enhance patient care and streamline clinical documentation.
• Engage in strategic initiatives to improve clinical quality, safety, and processes.

Qualifications:

• Active MD/DO license in good standing.
• Board Certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).
• Fellowship training and/or strong clinical background preferred.
• Minimum of 2+ years' clinical experience.
• Strong evidence-based clinical skills and outcome-focused care.
• Empathetic, active, and intuitive listening skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Knowledgeable in crisis response.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a telemedicine environment.
• Tech-savvy with ability to navigate various systems (e.g., Google Workspace, proprietary EMR).
• Passionate about improving access to high-quality care.
