Job Description: Walter Knoll Florist, a renowned floral shop in O'Fallon, MO, is seeking a versatile and customer-focused individual to join our team in a combined role as a Retail Clerk, Floral Assistant & Driver. This dynamic position involves providing exceptional customer service in-store, assisting with floral arrangements, and delivering floral products to customers.

Training will begin at our main location at 2765 LaSalle St., St. Louis, MO 63104, before transitioning to the O'Fallon location.

Responsibilities:

Delivery Responsibilities:

• Safely deliver floral arrangements, plants, and retail products to customers' locations.
• Load and unload products, handling fragile items carefully.
• Coordinate routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
• Use GPS and navigation tools for efficient routing.
• Review orders, invoices, and customer instructions for accuracy.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle and report mechanical issues.
• Package, label, and organize floral arrangements in-store.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and resolve issues.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and stocked.
• Notify recipients of deliveries via cell phone and log completion (cell phone reimbursement provided).
• Follow traffic laws and safety procedures.

Retail & Floral Assistance:

• Assist customers in selecting floral products and provide recommendations.
• Answer inquiries and offer floral design suggestions.
• Process orders using the point-of-sale system.
• Prepare floral displays, ensuring quality and freshness.
• Create custom floral arrangements per customer requests.
• Manage incoming shipments and inventory.
• Maintain a clean and inviting retail space.
• Support promotional displays and seasonal decor.
• Stay informed on floral trends and techniques.
• Collaborate with the floral team for ideas and inspiration.

Qualifications:

• Experience in retail or customer service preferred; floral knowledge is a plus.
• At least 2 years of professional driving experience, with a valid driver’s license and a clean record; Missouri Class E
