Job summary

Backpack is seeking a blockchain-focused software engineer to help scale our wallet and platform for mass adoption. You will work closely on Rust-based backend and React frontend, delivering features and fixing issues across the stack.

You are passionate about web3, have 5+ years of commercial experience, and are fluent in English. We offer flexible hours, a hybrid schedule, and ownership opportunities as part of our fast-paced, no-BS environment.

Qualifications

• Rust (advanced) proficiency and building reliable blockchain components.
• React (advanced) experience for frontend interfaces and integrations.
• 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Fluent/advanced English communication in a global team.

Responsibilities

• Roll out key features for the Backpack Wallet and related platforms.
• Optimize and fix bugs across the stack to maintain reliability.
• Own projects end-to-end from design through delivery and iteration.
