Overview

This position is responsible for designing wall panels based on architectural prints using “Mitek Sapphire Structure”. The role involves ensuring that designs are accurate, optimized, and conform to current policies and procedures (P&P). Responsibilities include specifying all necessary hardware, maintaining a complete and updated Job Tracking Sheet, sending approval letters to customers as per P&P, providing sales and customer support when required, maintaining an organized office and plan files, logging all plans properly, and attending meetings and committees as requested by supervisors.

This is a remote position, primarily working on single and multi-family structures.

Responsibilities

1. Supervise and direct the hourly engineered wood manufacturing employees.
2. Determine and maintain the materials and supplies used in engineered wood product production.
3. Work with customers to create takeoffs.
4. Manage, maintain, and train on automated saw systems.
5. Enforce safety measures.
6. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
