Job summary

Brimela Routes Corp in Lower East Side, Manhattan, NY, is hiring a Delivery Associate/Foot Courier. Compensation is $19.50 per hour. Shifts run 1pm to 9pm. The role involves delivering packages safely to customers in the community and requires interacting with the public professionally.

You’ll work 3-5 days per week, up to 7 hours per day, and may deliver 200+ packages weighing up to 50 lbs. Candidates must pass a 4-panel drug screen and be 18+ with a valid ID.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have a valid state ID within the state of employment.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork are required.

Responsibilities

• Work 3-5 days per week and up to 7 hours per day with shifts seven days a week.
• Interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner.
• Deliver 200+ packages ranging from envelopes to boxes up to 50 lbs.
• Push a hand truck full of packages when needed.
• Work under ALL weather conditions.
• Pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening.

What You’ll Do as a Delivery Associate/Foot Courier

As a Delivery Associate/Foot Courier you’ll stay active, work independently, and be part of a motivated team that safely delivers packages for the world's largest distributer to customers in your community.

• Work 3-5 days per week and up to 7hours per day including breaks with shifts available sevendays a week
• Interact withcustomers and the public in a professional and positive manner
• Stay active delivering 200 or more packages ranging from envelopes to boxes weighing up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to push a hand truck full of packages.
• Must be able to work under ALL weather conditions
• Must successfully pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening (which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana).
