Job summary

Capital Shipping is seeking reliable Walker Delivery Associates to deliver packages safely to customers' doors on a full-time basis. You will load, transport, and deliver within a defined area, using an electronic device for GPS and delivery records.

Shifts are 8–10 hours, seven days per week with about four days worked weekly. Weekend and holiday availability is required; benefits include medical, dental, vision, and paid training. Join a team that values safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Able to lift and deliver packages up to 50 lbs.
• Able to meet at designated anchor point across Washington, D.C.
• Able to walk and push/pull a loaded hand truck within a ten-block radius.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Previous delivery experience is a plus, but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, and deliver packages by walking to customer addresses within a ten-block radius in all weather conditions.
• Deliver packages (up to 50 lbs) to customers on time and with care.
• Follow all company safety policies and traffic laws throughout delivery stages.
• Operate an electronic device for GPS and daily records of deliveries.
• Contact customers to deliver packages in a safe location as directed.
• Interact with customers and the public in a professional manner.
• Maintain communication with dispatch throughout the day.

We’re looking for reliable and motivated Walker Delivery Associates to join our team! You’ll be responsible for delivering packages safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This is a full-time position.

Capital Shipping is looking for enthusiastic, team players to deliver packages with a smile to customers doors. Walker Delivery Associate shifts range between 8-10 hours per dayand shifts are available 7 days per week. You can plan on working about 4 days a week. Must be available to work weekends and holidays. We are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, and deliver packages by walking to customer addresses within a ten-block radius in all weather conditions.
• Deliver packages (Weighing up to 50 lbs) to customers on time and with care.
• Follow all company safety policies and traffic laws throughout all delivery stages from package pickup, transport, and delivery.
• Operate an electronic device/mobile phone for GPS and daily records of deliveries using apps.
• Contact the customers, when necessary, in order todeliver their packages in a safe location and follow their direction.
• Interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner.
• Maintain communication with dispatch throughout the day.
