Job summary

Walker Headhunters, LLC is seeking a reliable Delivery Associate in Hyattsville, MD to deliver packages safely and provide excellent customer service. This full-time position features 8–10 hour shifts, typically 4 days per week, with weekend and holiday work requirements.

You will load, transport, and deliver in all weather, using GPS for daily records. We offer medical, dental and vision insurance, paid training, PTO accrual from day one, and potential performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to lift and deliver packages up to 50 lbs.
• Able to meet on time at a designated anchor point across Washington, D.C.
• Able to walk and push/pull a loaded hand truck to deliver packages across a ten-block radius.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays if needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, and deliver packages by walking to customer addresses within a ten-block radius in all weather conditions.
• Deliver packages weighing up to 50 lbs on time and with care.
• Follow all company safety policies and traffic laws.
• Operate an electronic device for GPS and daily delivery records.
• Coordinate with customers and dispatch to ensure secure delivery locations.

Capital Shipping is looking for enthusiastic, team players to deliver packages with a smile to customers doors. Walker Delivery Associate shifts range between 8-10 hours per dayand shifts are available 7 days per week. You can plan on working about 4 days a week. Must be available to work weekends and holidays. We are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner.
• Maintain communication with dispatch throughout the day.
