Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Walk-In Clinic in Bellingham, Washington. This is a part time role requiring 0.80 FTE and offers a salary range of $25.62 – $34.58 per hour, based on experience and training.

The position includes responsibilities like preparing patients for examination, maintaining treatment rooms, and assisting in patient scheduling. Applicants must complete an accredited Medical Assistant program and have a Washington Medical Assistant certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in a medical office preferred.
• State of Washington Medical Assistant - certified licensure required.
• Basic Life Support required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and record patient history.
• Maintain exam and treatment rooms and medical supplies.
• Give injections and facilitate simple wound management.
• Assist in scheduling patient appointments and maintain files.
• Collaborate with personnel for smooth clinic operations.
