Little Lotus is seeking a dedicated educator to guide a small group of children (ages 3–5) in a Waldorf-inspired outdoor program in Montana. The role centers on nurturing imagination, rhythm, storytelling, music, and experiential learning in a hands-on outdoor setting.
The ideal candidate loves this age, values holistic living, and can partner with families and founding members to shape and carry forward the program with warmth, calm confidence, and dependable presence.
Has meaningful experience working with and guiding young children, ideallyages 3–5.
Has experience with or a strong understanding ofWaldorf early childhood education.Formal Waldorf training is wonderful, but deep alignment and relevant experience matter too.
Genuinely loves being outdoors and feels comfortable guiding children outside throughout Montana's seasons.
Understands the importance ofrhythm, storytelling, songs, imagination, meaningful work, natural materials and experiential learningin early childhood.
Is warm, calm, grounded, playful, dependable and confident holding a small group of children.
Valuesholistic and ancestral living, nourishing food, mindfulness, nature connection and conscious childhood.
Is comfortable incorporating age-appropriate practices such as children's yoga, breath, gratitude, mindful movement, music, singing bowls and sound.
Is comfortable around gardens, chickens, wildlife, mud, snow and the realities of spending most of the day outdoors in Montana.
Feels comfortablepartnering with and guiding parents, communicating the philosophy behind the children's experience and helping families create continuity between Little Lotus and home.
Is excited about joining something at the very beginning and collaborating with our founding families to help thoughtfully shape the program.
