What will I be doing?

As a Waldorf Cook, you will play a pivotal role in crafting an exceptional culinary experience that reflects the elegance and prestige of our hotel. Our goal is to achieve Forbes 5-Star delivering dishes that are as refined as they are flavorful. You will work in a kitchen dedicated to precision, creativity, and the highest standards of excellence, ensuring that every plate reflects our commitment to luxury hospitality. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Prepare exquisite dishes with precision and care, following established recipes and quality standards that align with our commitment to world-class dining
  • Maintain impeccable cleanliness and adhere to all food sanitation standards, ensuring a safe and pristine kitchen environment
  • Execute each guest order flawlessly, with attention to timing, presentation, and consistency
  • Demonstrate a deep knowledge of ingredients, techniques, and menu items, ensuring every dish meets the expectations of the most discerning palates
  • Maintain and organize your designated station, ensuring efficiency and readiness for service
  • Visually inspect all food before it leaves the kitchen, ensuring only the highest-quality dishes are presented to our guests
  • Practice meticulous food handling and storage procedures, adhering to all federal, state, local, and company regulations
  • Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, ensuring that your station is always stocked and ready for service

The rate of pay for this role is $32.0321- $42.7094 and is based on applicable and specialized experience.

  • Previous experience in a Forbes 5-Star, Michelin-starred, or ultra-luxury fine dining restaurantdemonstrating a deep understanding of world-class culinary execution
  • A true passion for hospitality and fine dining, with a relentless pursuit of perfection in every dish prepared
  • Exceptional knife skills and technical proficiency in classic and modern cooking techniques
  • Meticulous attention to detail, precision, and consistency in food preparation, presentation, and execution
  • A strong understanding of kitchen operations, organization, and cleanliness, ensuring compliance with all sanitation and safety regulations
  • Ability to excel in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, maintaining poise and focus while delivering the highest quality cuisine
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to achieving culinary excellence
  • A valid Food Handler’s Certificate is required before an offer of employment can be extended
  • Full availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support the needs of a world-class luxury kitchen
