San Diego State University Associated Students MBAC seeks a Wakesports Instructor to teach wakeboarding, waterskiing and wakesurfing to students of all ages. You will drive boats, supervise safety, and deliver engaging, educational experiences on land and on the water.

Requires at least a high school diploma, wake sports skills, and boating licenses; part-time summer position with weekend availability. Salary starts at $18.75/hour with safety and training provided.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 18 years old at the time of hire.
• High School Diploma required.
• One year of powerboat driving experience preferred.
• Coast Guard OUPV license, lifeguarding and vessel certifications preferred.
• Excellent customer service and teaching abilities.

• Provide a safe, educational wake sports experience on land and water.
• Explain and demonstrate wakeboarding, waterskiing, and wakesurfing techniques.
• Supervise students and monitor safety and weather conditions.
• Maintain attendance records and inspect equipment before/after class.
