Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living is currently seeking an attentive Waitstaff/Server to support residents in a restaurant-style dining setting at our Cheektowaga, NY location. This role is available for both full-time and part-time day shifts, starting at $16.00–$16.50 per hour based on experience.

The position emphasizes excellent customer service, effective communication with residents and staff, and collaboration with the Dining Director to ensure high-quality dining programs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in food service preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
• Coordinate with the Dining Director to ensure residents are satisfied with food and dining programs.
• Set tables in accordance with PSL standards and serve beverages as requested.
• Review daily menu with residents to inform selections and preferences.

Waitstaff/Server Responsibilities include

• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere
• Work closely with the Dining Director to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs
• Set tables in accordance with PSL standards
• Serve residents and guests with beverages as requested
• Review daily menu with residents

Waitstaff /Server Education & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent certification (GED) preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience working in the food service industry preferred
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public
