Job summary

Atria Senior Living is hiring for a Waitstaff role in our communities. You will set tables, take dining orders, review menus with residents, and assist with meal preparation, delivery, and cleanup, while providing exceptional dining service. On-the-job training is provided and you’ll work in a team-focused environment.

The role emphasizes customer care, sanitation, and teamwork, with opportunities for advancement and a balanced work-life in a supportive community setting.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.
• Effective verbal and written English skills.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Set and clear tables, take residents’ dining orders, and provide high level of customer service.
• Review menus with residents and acquaint new residents with dining at Atria.
• Assist with preparation, delivery, and cleanup of daily meals, banquets, and special events.
• Create a strong sense of teamwork with colleagues and positive relationships with residents.
• Clean and sanitize carpets, tables, chairs, and equipment used in the dining room.
