Job summary

Holiday by Atria - Edgewood Downs is seeking a friendly Waitstaff to set and clear dining tables, take residents' orders, and provide outstanding service in our community dining room.

You will assist with meal prep and events, review menus with residents, and help maintain a clean, safe dining environment. No prior experience required; on-the-job training is paid.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.
• Good verbal and written English communication.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling.
• No prior experience needed; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Set/clear tables, take dining orders, and provide excellent service.
• Review menus with residents and acquaint new residents with dining at Atria.
• Assist with preparation, delivery, and cleanup of meals and events.
• Foster teamwork and positive relationships with residents.
• Clean and sanitize dining room surfaces and equipment.

Responsibilities

What you will do as a Waitstaff

• Set and clear tables, take residents’ dining orders, and provide the highest level of customer service.
• Review menus with residents and acquaint new residents with dining at Atria.
• Assist with the preparation, delivery, and cleanup of daily meals, banquets, and special events.
• Create a strong sense of teamwork with your colleagues and positive relationships with residents.
• Clean and sanitize carpet, tables, chairs, condiment containers, and equipment used in the dining room.

Salary Range

The wage range for this position is $16.80/hr - $20.16/hr, dependent on prior work history and experience
