Job Summary

Summary: Takes food and beverage orders and efficiently delivers items to dining room guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promptly and warmly greet guests; take food and beverage orders following established service steps.
• Deliver food promptly and professionally; maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards; assist with guest needs.
• Understand menu items and ingredients; advise guests; accommodate requests; be knowledgeable about diets and allergens.
• Communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and teamwork; remain flexible and patient.
• Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests.
• Handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Address complaints promptly and relay issues to supervisors.
• Set up and clean the dining area, meeting sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment like fire extinguishers, telephones, and coffee machines.
• Collaborate with other departments during events.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
