We are hiring immediately for full‑ and part‑time Waiter/Waitress positions at Camber located at 460 Forbes Boulevard, South San Francisco, CA 94080.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Online applications accepted only.

Responsibilities

• Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room; take food and beverages efficiently, following established steps of service.
• Deliver food promptly and professionally; maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards; follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests.
• Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advise guests on appropriate combinations of food and drinks, accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences, and demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed.
• Communicate directly with back‑of‑house staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly and special requests accommodated.
• Exhibit exceptional communication skills and demonstrate ability to get along well with others, remain flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff.
• Collect tickets and follow proper cash‑handling procedures.
• Promote a clean, safe and neat environment for guests.
• Maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared.
• Promptly address complaints or issues; relay relevant information or complaints directly to supervisor.
• Ensure that the dining room is properly set up prior to and after the service period; keep area clean and neat while meeting sanitation standards.
• Operate a variety of equipment, including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells and coffee machines.
• Work with staff of other departments to perform job duties during special events and functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
