Job summary

FellowshipLIFE in New Jersey is seeking a part-time waiter/waitress to deliver exceptional dining experiences. You will take orders, serve meals and beverages, and assist guests with menu questions while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring order accuracy and presentation standards.
  • Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any requests.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
  • Handle guest payments and provide accurate change or process electronic transactions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.

About the Role:

As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service. Your primary objective is to ensure customer satisfaction by accurately taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing any guest needs or concerns promptly. You will collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate timely and accurate order delivery. Maintaining a clean and organized dining environment will also be part of your responsibilities to uphold our establishment's standards. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive word-of-mouth recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or food service role preferred but not required.

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.

Experience:

  • 1 year of experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment preferred.
