Our restaurant is looking for a waiter/waitress with remarkable customer service and a strong work ethic.
The right person for this job should be able to multitask with taking food and beverage orders and deliveries, and keeping on top of all guest needs. Our restaurant prides itself in providing excellent service, which is why we are looking for a waiter/waitress who will treat our guests with attentiveness, patience, and a positive attitude.
The responsibilities of a waiter/waitress in our restaurant are to greet guests, seat them down, help them with menu recommendations, take and deliver orders (carry trays), and clear tables. All our waiters/waitresses are also responsible for handling cash and credit card transactions. You will also be responsible for your share of making the front of house run smoothly, this includes folding boxes, rolling silverware, participating in doing the laundry, and other small jobs like cutting fruit and restocking to go packaging.
To help our restaurant provide a pleasurable dining experience, a good waiter/waitress should be able to ensure that our guests are fully satisfied by being friendly, courteous, accommodating, and reliable. A suitable candidate for the job should also be a problem-solver and a team player.
Tony's La Pizzeria is a locally owned family business that has been making pizza longer than anyone in Waterloo or Cedar Falls. The location has changed several times, we now reside in beautiful downtown Cedar Falls on Main Street. We have been serving the Cedar Valley for over sixty five years. While many things have changed, one thing has not: our commitment to serving the highest quality products to our customers.
Tony’s started on Sycamore Street in 1958 as a simple pizzeria, and we are still making the same fine pizza today. The dough and sauce are still made fresh on the premises every day and we hand-trim the Iowa-grown pork that we use to grind our fresh sausage.
We make things from scratch, from salad dressings to sauces, to the vegetables we cut and prepare each day.We think it tastes far better than anything that comes out of a package: we think that our customers can taste the difference, and we think they deserve fresh, wholesome food.
We seek out the finest ingredients and are committed to “Buy Fresh, Buy Local.” We strive to buy fresh seasonal vegetables from local growers whenever possible.
