Duties
- Performs routine duties of servicing banquets either by providing for set menu banquets or taking individual orders.
- Involved in setting up and breaking down banquet settings and replenishing beverages.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Attend Team Member Orientation within 30 days of employment.
- This is a flexible position that there are no guaranteed hours. Must be willing to serve in a continuing position on a scheduled or as needed basis.
- Must be willing to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Stands, walks and stoops and stretches, for long periods of time, handling food and beverage trays and good containers, seldom weighing more than 40 pounds.
- Must meet state/local age requirements at the time of appointment if serving alcoholic beverages.
- Required to be available for Community Events that Business Operations Division supports. The events include, but not limited to, Oktoberfest, Freedom Fest, Children’s Fest, and Winterfest. Other duties as assigned.
- Work is primarily indoors in areas that usually have adequate light and ventilation. Danger of slipping on wet or polished floors. May occasionally work outdoors during seasonal functions.
- Must be available to work rotating shifts.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Must meet the state/local age (21) requirement for the serving of alcoholic beverages. No prior training or work experience required. Applicants must be able to follow simple oral and/or written instructions.
Best Qualified Qualifications: At least six months of experience working in a bar, restaurant, or catering.
