Job summary

Friendship Village Retirement Community in Waterloo, IA invites applications for Wait staff/Dining Associate. You will serve meals, buss tables, deliver orders, and assist with dining room upkeep to create a welcoming environment for residents and guests.

We're looking for friendly, customer-oriented individuals who are willing to help others, maintain high hospitality standards, and work varied hours, including weekends and holidays. This role includes some dishwashing and light kitchen duties.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Hours vary; must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Applicants are required to pass pre-employment screenings: background checks, abuse registry check, drug test, physical, and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals, bussing tables, and deliver meals to residents, families, staff and customers.
• Keep dining area neat and welcoming; assist with room appearance.
• Perform dishwashing and other light kitchen duties as assigned.

Friendship Village Retirement Community is seeking full and part time Wait staff/Dining Associate. As a staff member you are responsible are responsible for serving food, bussing tables, delivering meals and attend to any other dining needs our residents, family members, staff, or other customers may have. In addition, you assist with ensuring the dining room look flawless and everything in the dining room is neat and tidy. You will assist with dishwashing and other kitchen duties as assigned.
