Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in San Diego seeks an Associate Attorney to join a dynamic employment litigation team, focusing on Wage & Hour, PAGA, and class actions. You will work closely with senior attorneys to develop strategies and advance cases through hearings and mediations.

You will draft pleadings, motions, and discovery, conduct in-depth legal research, and take and defend depositions while mentoring junior staff and gaining hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• At least two years of wage & hour, PAGA, or class action experience.
• Active California State Bar membership.
• Strong litigation, research, and analytical skills.
• Persuasive written and oral advocacy.
• Good judgment and ability to manage complex matters.
• Experience in depositions, mediations, or motion hearings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a docket of wage & hour class actions and PAGA matters with senior attorney support.
• Develop case strategies for state and federal California matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and mediation briefs.
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex issues.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Represent clients at hearings and mediations.
• Collaborate with legal teams to resolve cases.
• Communicate with clients regarding case developments.
• Contribute to trial preparation and litigation phases.
