Qualifications

• Active membership in the California Bar.
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• 3+ years of litigation experience; wage-and-hour exposure preferred.
• Knowledge of California Labor Code, PAGA and FLSA.

Responsibilities

• Develop litigation strategy from early assessment through resolution.
• Take and defend depositions; manage significant written discovery.
• Research, draft, and argue dispositive and class-related motions.
• Prepare pleadings, briefs, and key litigation documents.
• Evaluate strategy for representative actions under PAGA.
• Analyze wage and hour issues: classification, regular-rate, meal/rest periods, wage statements, waiting-time penalties.
• Collaborate with clients and the broader labor & employment practice.
