Qualifications

• Three+ years of wage-and-hour litigation experience.
• Strong foundation in California employment law.
• Active California Bar membership.
• JD from ABA-accredited law school.
• Experience with discovery, depositions, motions, and legal writing.

Responsibilities

• Develop litigation strategy from early assessment to resolution.
• Take and defend depositions; manage written discovery.
• Research, draft, and argue substantive motions, including dispositive and class actions.
• Prepare pleadings, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Evaluate and develop strategy for representative actions under PAGA.
• Analyze wage-and-hour issues such as employee classification and meal/rest periods.
• Collaborate with clients and attorneys across the labor and employment practice.
