KLA Industries is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its wage and hour litigation practice in San Diego, California. The role focuses on California wage and hour disputes, including class, collective, and representative actions in state and federal court, with substantial ownership of matters.

This position offers meaningful responsibility, collaboration with experienced colleagues, and opportunities to shape strategy for employer clients.

Formación

Active California Bar member.
Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
Minimum 3 years of litigation experience.
Strong knowledge of wage-and-hour issues under CA law.
Experience with class/collective actions is a plus.

Responsabilidades

Develop litigation strategy from early assessment through resolution.
Take and defend depositions and manage significant written discovery.
Research, draft, and argue substantive motions, including dispositive and class-related motions.
Prepare pleadings, briefs, and other key litigation documents.
Evaluate and develop strategy for representative actions under PAGA.
Analyze wage and hour issues including employee classification and rest periods.
Collaborate with clients and other attorneys in the labor and employment practice.
