Qualifications

• Active membership in the California Bar.
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in wage and hour defense.
• Working knowledge of California Labor Code, PAGA, and FLSA.
• Experience with discovery, depositions, motions, and legal writing.

Responsibilities

• Develop litigation strategy from early assessment through resolution.
• Take/defend depositions and manage written discovery.
• Research, draft, and argue dispositive and class‑related motions.
• Prepare pleadings, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Evaluate strategy for PAGA representative actions.
• Analyze wage and hour issues including employee classification and related calculations.
