The Wage-Hour Technician position in Fairbanks with the State of Alaska’s Department of Labor and Workforce Development focuses on enforcing prevailing wage requirements and proper pay on public projects. Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Six months of advanced clerical experience; equivalent postings accepted.
• Six months of post secondary education may substitute for the experience.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure prevailing wage requirements are followed and employees are paid properly on public construction projects.
• Audit certified payrolls and perform on-site inspections of construction projects.
• Review and approve Notices of Award/Notices of Completion.
• Provide technical assistance for LSS Online Filing Services and educate employers on responsibilities.
