Ogletree Deakins in California seeks a Wage and Hour Class Action attorney to join our expanding practice. Duties include drafting motions, pleadings, handling discovery, researching, and drafting handbooks and policies.
The position offers an associate track toward shareholder or a counsel track with a flexible schedule and occasional work from home. We provide writing, publishing, and speaking opportunities and robust professional development.
We have an opportunity for a Wage and Hour Class Action attorney to join the firm’s expanding practice. Duties include, but are not limited to, drafting motions and pleadings, attending court conferences, handling discovery-related activities and investigations, and drafting position statements, dispositive motions, employee handbooks, policies, performing legal research, etc. We are open to an attorney who will join us as an associate (on track toward shareholder) with the opportunity to grow their business or as a counsel attorney (on an alternative track) with a flexible work schedule and the opportunity to occasionally work from home.

In accordance with California’s amended labor code as stated in Senate Bill 1162, the expected salary range for this California position is between $185,000 and $220,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. A competitive hours-based bonus is also available. This position qualifies for the benefits below.
