Red Seal Recruiting seeks a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney for a prominent AmLaw 100 international law firm in California. The role focuses on wage-and-hour class actions, with hybrid work (4 days in-office) across Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of employment litigation experience, strong research and writing, and a drive for trial work. You'll join a premier team known for sophisticated litigation strategies, early responsibility, and high-level client

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active California Bar admission in good standing.
• 3–5 years of substantive employment litigation experience.
• Extensive experience defending wage & hour claims, including class actions.
• Strong legal research and writing skills with the ability to produce high-quality, strategic work product.
• Experience drafting key legal documents and managing discovery.
• Desire for trial work.
• Ability to work efficiently within a team-focused, high-performance environment.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and maintaining strong professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex employment litigation matters, including the defense of wage & hour claims and wage & hour class actions.
• Draft and refine pleadings, motions, class certification briefs, and related filings.
• Participate in trials and contribute to trial preparation work.
• Manage and oversee discovery, including written discovery, document review, and deposition preparation.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys across the firm's CA offices to develop litigation strategies.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on evolving class action issues.
• Maintain clear, client-ready communication and deliver practical guidance.

Our client, a prominent AmLaw 100 international law firm , is seeking a talented mid to senior-level Associate Attorney to join their premier Labor & Employment Group , supporting the California practice inLos Angeles and San Francisco. Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Salary : Expected annual base salary range is $250,000-$310,000, as determined by experience and market factors
