**Job Title**Wage Agency Instructor - Manufacturing Assistance**Agency**Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service**Department**Business and Cyber Solutions**Proposed Minimum Salary**Commensurate**Job Location**Corpus Christi, Texas**Job Type**Temporary/Casual Staff (Fixed Term)**Job Description****Wage Agency Instructor - Manufacturing Assistance****$45.00 per hour****8 Positions Available****Temporary/Casual Staff****Telecommuter - Corpus Christi, Texas****The Role at a Glance**The Manufacturing Assistance Wage Agency Instructor coordinates, prepares, and delivers Lean, Quality Management Systems (QMS) and maintenance training in the areas of Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatics. These trainings will be delivered in English and Spanish, throughout the State of Texas. The Manufacturing Assistance Wage Agency Instructor trains various audiences including technicians, managers and executives in a variety of manufacturing, commercial, and government organizations through courses which focus on strategies and techniques to assist companies and organizations to improve their performance. The Manufacturing Assistance Wage Agency Instructor will use their knowledge of adult learning theories and learning styles to maximize learner success and ensure overall effectiveness of the course instruction. The Manufacturing Assistance Wage Agency Instructor uses a variety of media to present course materials and is responsible for assisting in curriculum development projects to maintain course relevance and support customer needs.This position reports to the Program Director.**Qualifications of the Role*** Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.* Five years of experience in engineering or manufacturing.* One year of experience in adult education and/or training of lean manufacturing tools.* Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.*Equivalency: Will accept an associate’s degree and seven years of experience in engineering or manufacturing or a high school diploma and nine years of experience in engineering or manufacturing.
