Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking a detail-oriented PDE Product Test Technician to join our LFAB team. This role acts as a critical Quality Gatekeeper within the wafer fabrication process, performing visual and statistical inspection of wafer maps to identify defect patterns and ensure only high-quality material moves to final testing and customers.

This role requires high-level pattern recognition, troubleshooting, and an automation mindset.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and analytical mindset is essential.
• Experience interpreting wafer maps and identifying defect signatures is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot and propose process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-level inspection of wafer maps to identify defect signatures.
• Execute Inking protocols to exclude suspect dies from proceeding in manufacturing.
• Monitor quality thresholds and escalate findings to PDE engineers.
• Serve as technical liaison between PDE and back-end Probe Sites.
• Maintain Wafer Map Library and prepare documentation for Qualification Lots.
• Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
