Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Fabrication Technician to perform wafer fabrication functions in semiconductor device production. You will operate equipment for alignment, masking, etch and diffusion, with senior roles potentially covering setup and calibration and some preventive maintenance tasks.

The role requires following work instructions, maintaining clean room standards, and accurately logging data. Strong attention to safety and quality is essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
• Effective communication, include speaking and writing.
• Dexterity and good hand-eye coordination for manipulating components.
• Ability to understand directions and follow procedures.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform wafer fabrication following work instructions and procedures.
• Operate equipment for various wafer fabrication stages.
• Measure and log data for critical parameters.
• Maintain clean room practices and wear PPE.
• Document and record data accurately.
• Move materials between locations and handle items up to 20 pounds.
• Inspect for quality defects and handle fragile wafers.
