Techneeds LLC is seeking a Wafer Fab Technician - 1st Shift for an on-site role in Londonderry, NH.

You will support wafer and thin film manufacturing with hands‑on processing, documentation, and visual inspection of wafers/chips before and after key steps.

Qualifications

• Experience as an operator or technician in wafer fab or thin film fab (or closely related semiconductor manufacturing environment)
• Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing or thin film manufacturing fundamentals (willingness to be trained across multiple process areas)
• Hands-on experience with visual inspection of wafers/chips before and after processing
• Working knowledge of measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Ability to accurately follow detailed technical instructions and process documentation
• Experience completing logbooks, forms, and production documentation with strong attention to detail
• Ability to identify potential equipment malfunctions and initiate a maintenance request or escalation
• Strong basic math skills for production-related tasks (counts, simple calculations, measurement concepts)
• Good manual dexterity for careful handling and repeatable, detail-oriented work
• Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Commitment to workplace safety, housekeeping, and reporting unsafe conditions
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship)

Job description

Our client is looking for a/an Wafer Fab Technician - 1st Shift. This is an on-site opportunity with a high-reliability technology manufacturer supporting advanced microelectronics and semiconductor production. In this Wafer Fab Technician role, you will help keep wafer and thin film manufacturing moving by performing hands-on processing support, detailed documentation, and careful visual inspection of wafers/chips before and after key steps. If you're asking, "What do I do day-to-day as a Wafer Fab Technician?"—you’ll spend your shift following technical work instructions, inspecting and measuring parts, completing process logbooks, keeping your work area clean, and flagging any equipment concerns so production stays on track. You’ll be a strong fit if you have wafer fab or thin film fab operator experience (or closely related semiconductor manufacturing exposure), good manual dexterity, and the ability to accurately follow detailed technical instructions.

Pay Range:

$22.00 - $30.00 DOE

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, flexible schedule (8 hours/day, 40 hours/week)
