Job summary

EY is seeking a WAF Operations Solution Engineer to configure and maintain web application firewalls, including Cloudflare and Imperva, to protect client applications from cyber threats. You'll monitor traffic, analyze security events, respond to incidents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen security posture, using Terraform for IaC.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT/Cybersecurity or related field.
1–2 years of web application security operations experience focusing on WAF management.
Hands-on with WAFs such as Cloudflare and Imperva; Terraform for IaC is a plus.

Responsibilities

Configure and optimize WAF solutions to protect web applications.
Provide ongoing operational coverage of web application firewalls.
Monitor traffic and security events to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
Analyze security incidents, perform root cause analysis and remediation.
Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and respond to incidents.
Develop and maintain WAF policies, rules, and documentation.
Support security audits and assessments; stay updated on threats and trends.
Leverage Cloudflare/Imperva and Terraform to implement and automate security measures.
