As a Meat Cutter, you'll help provide a well-stocked and well-maintained department while providing superior customer service. You'll prepare, package, and merchandise fresh product daily, maintaining all department and food safety / sanitation standards.

What is the work?

Production / Food Service:

• Cut, trim, bone meat for display or customer orders, following standards
• Operate equipment such as electric grinder, saw, knife sharpener, tenderizer, slicer
• Weigh, wrap, label product packages; rotate product as needed
• Store product properly in meat cooler
• Use MCS technology for production tracking
• Assist customers with product questions
• Scan items using Telxon for production
• Support technical areas as needed

Food Safety / Sanitation:

• Clean and sanitize display cases and equipment
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards
• Adhere to SOPs, store procedures, and regulations

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service
• Assist customers with product questions and selections

What is your background?

• Minimum age 18
• 1+ years of related experience/training
• Completion of power jack training

Do you have what it takes?

• Knowledge of product rotation, sanitation, shrink awareness, MS Office
• Meat-cutting skills (saw, grinder)
• Customer service and communication skills
