Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks a locum tenens physician to cover 24-hour hospitalist calls and clinic/endoscopy center duties for adult patients. Case mix includes GI procedures with ERCP and endoscopy, in a hospital and outpatient endoscopy setting. EPIC EMR is preferred; Provation GI software is a plus.

Assignments include travel and housing, paid malpractice, and a streamlined online portal for time entry. Weatherby provides 24-hour consultant access and is a charter member of NALTO.

Qualifications

• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
• ERCP procedures required; 50+ successful in past 2 years.
• Provation GI software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour call/hospitalist coverage (weekdays and weekends).
• See clinic patients (approximately 16 per day).
• Cover endoscopy center (14–16 patients per day).
• Perform ERCP procedures as required; adult patients (18+).

• 24-hour call/hospitalist shifts weekdays and weekends
• 16 patients per day in clinic, 14-16 in endoscopy center
• Hospital and outpatient endoscopy center setting
• EMR: EPIC preferred
• ERCP procedures required with 50 successful in past 2 years
• Provation GI software preferred
• Adult patients only (18+)
• Double balloon enteroscopy or capsule endoscopy if applicable
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal

From $335.00 to $425.00 hourly
