Job summary

Wise Skulls Corp. seeks an experienced Data QA Tester to support Big Data, ETL and cloud testing in a hybrid environment across Chicago, IL and Richardson, TX.

The role focuses on ensuring data quality, test planning, and end-to-end validation of data pipelines. You will work with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory and Azure Storage containers, design robust test plans, write test cases, and drive tests through the SDLC in collaboration with on-site and offshore teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software testing with emphasis on Big Data, ETL and cloud testing.
• Proficient in designing test plans and test cases.
• Experience in on-site/offshore collaboration and SDLC exposure.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test plans and test cases for Big Data & cloud testing.
• Execute test scenarios based on functional specs and data transformations.

Note: There are 2 Locations: Chicago, IL & Richardson, TX (Hybrid: 2-3 Days a week)

• 10 Years Overall Experience with 7 Years in Big Data, ETL Testing, and Cloud Testing.
• Experience as Tester in Big Data Testing, Cloud Azure Testing and ETL Testing.
• Having good exposure in Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage Containers
• Extensive Knowledge in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of Development/Testing applications.
• Having strong experience in the end-to-end process of Software Development Life Cycle.
• Expertise Writing Test Plan & Test Cases.
• Involved in designing Complex SQL queries based on the transformation rules
• Hands on experience in designing Test Scenarios, Test cases & execution of Test Cases, based on functional/ Software specifications.
• Having Good understanding on Data Warehousing concepts.
• Having knowledge on Azure pipelines and data validations .
• Working in an onsite-offshore team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
