Job summary

Lorien is seeking a Sr. Electrical Design Engineer (RCDD required) in Seattle, WA. The role focuses on data center design, telecom paths, security, and Wi‑Fi/ DAS layouts, with hybrid work options and travel to sites as needed. W2 only, hourly range USD70–USD80.

Candidates should have data center/construction project experience, PE and RCDD credentials are highly valued, and remote work is possible for some locations within SEA, Austin, or Northern VA/DC.

Responsibilities

• Design telecom (fiber/copper) paths, security and wireless layouts.
• Collaborate with engineers using standardized designs and wiki-based approaches.
• Lead design efforts for data center ICT infrastructure.
• Travel to construction sites as needed (2–4 trips over 6 months).

Salary: USD70 - USD80 per hour + W2 ONLY -

Looking for candidates in SEA, Austin, Northern VA/DC. Open to hybrid in these sites and will consider remote candidates. Some travel as needed to construction sites, expect 2-4 trips over 6 months for a couple of days

• Must have construction project/data center background.

• Will be doing the design, collaborating with engineers, using wiki/standardized designs and coming up with some new ones.
• Professional Engineer, project management certs good to have.
• Must have data center, ICT, RCDD.
