Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented VX Meter Control Room Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring the smooth operation of the VX Spectra multiphase meters used in well testing, production monitoring, and other oil and gas operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, an understanding of industrial control systems, and the ability to work effectively in a remote support environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and operate VX Spectra multiphase meters remotely, ensuring continuous and accurate data collection.
• Respond to operational issues and alarms, performing troubleshooting and coordination of necessary corrective actions.
• Provide real-time technical support to field personnel and remote engineers.
• Ensure the timely reporting of operational conditions, meter health, and critical system status updates.
• Assist in calibrations, adjustments, and troubleshooting of the VX Spectra meters based on field data and real-time feedback.
• Maintain comprehensive logs of system performance, actions taken, and troubleshooting efforts.
• Participate in regular system updates, software upgrades, and operational reviews to ensure optimal meter performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to suggest improvements and enhancements to operational procedures.
• Follow safety protocols and operational standards to ensure the highest levels of safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 years of experience in an industrial control or remote monitoring environment, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of multiphase metering systems, control systems, or automation technologies.
• Familiarity with VX Spectra multiphase meters and related control systems is a plus.
• Experience with remote monitoring platforms, troubleshooting, and operational support.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, flow diagrams, and system manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with technical teams and field personnel effectively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
• Willingness to work in a shift-based or on-call schedule as required.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of SCADA systems, PLC programming, or other industrial control platforms.
• Experience with VX Spectra, remote operations, or related industrial automation systems.
• Certification in related fields such as instrumentation, control systems, or automation is a plus.
