Job summary

Volkswagen of Downtown Chicago, part of the Murgado Automotive Group, seeks a skilled VW Service Technician to ensure performance and reliability of customer vehicles. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain VW vehicles, delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years as automotive technicians, VW/Audi experience preferred, and strong diagnostic skills. ASE certification is a plus; strong communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience as automotive technician (VW/Audi preferred)
• ASE certification or equivalent training a plus
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on VW vehicles
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, rotations, and inspections
• Use diagnostic tools to identify vehicle problems
• Communicate with customers and service advisors regarding repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized service bay environment
